Sorry if this has been mentioned somewhere before but I just setup my first Beastx, and although I leveled the swash in the part of the menu that you adjust the servos individually and went through the rest of the setup points fine, I noticed that when I initialize on the bench, my swash is actually tilting backwards.

I went through the setup again (I think it's part G or something not sure as I don't have it in front of me)and all the servos were exactly where I had them, and the swash is level at that part of the setup and any other part.

Once I finish again and power off and on, it initializes and is not level on the bench.
I know that vbar tends to do that, just not sure about this.
I wanted to ask here because I talked to 2 people and got conflicting answers.

Thanks.

Had a similar problem with my first Beastx setup, at Setup menu G - Swashplate servo centering. At "reference position" the cyclic servos are set so the servo horns can be attached as close to 90 degrees as possible, Status-LED is Black or OFF. Move the tail stick through each of the 3 servos and get everything at 90 degrees. Here's the important step, DONOT move back to the "reference position", leave the status LED at CH1, CH2 or CH3. Set the transmitter aside and move up the head to get 90 degrees and 0 pitch per the manual. Once that is complete, push the button to save the configuration. What I did the first time was move the rudder stick to the "reference position" then pushed the button to save the configuration. This caused the servo's go back to there original position before you adjusted each servo to get the 90 degrees. Hope this made sense, drove me crazy for awhile but kept reading what guys had written in all the sites and the light went on.

Well, my head was pretty straight from before with my servos almost at 90 degree.
I went through the adjustment of each servo and I barely had to move them to have the swash straight.

Once I was happy with everything, I went to original position(light off) and the swash was remained straight.

Then I completed the rest of the points of the setup and exited.

The problem is that now, when I power on, after the swash jerks and initializes, is stays tilted back a bit. I went through the setup again and the servos and swash were as I left them previously at that step (G).

That's why I am confused.
I will try to go through it again one more time and see what gives.
I had someone that has it tell me that it's fine like that and it will work. I know that vbar does kinda the same thing. However another guy told me it should initialize straight.

You know how bad it can be on first spool up if it is not correct.

Does yours initialize straight before flight ?

Yes my swash is level/straight after the Beastx goes through it's initalization process. It was not level the first time until I figured out the process that I described, give it a try and see what happens.

Hi Mario
I talked to the guys in Germany and they told me you should rebind your reciever, and reset the beast and make sure that there are no failsafe funktions activated, that should work.

Regards Pete
