I'm sure this is a easy question for some of you but searched and cant find my answer? I Recently bound my mcx to my blade sr radio (spektrum hp6dsm) and have a couple small issues. First off though I have gotten it to fly and hover very well with this setup. The 2 small problems I'm having are

1.To trim it out I need to run the rudder trim to the full left side to keep the nose from yawing.

2.Dialing in that much trim makes pirouettes not possible. A very slow yaw in a circle is all I get.

I can rebind it to the stock radio and it flys ok again. Leads me to think I have a wrong radio setting somehow? Maybe a dip switch wrong as they all needed changing?

They are at 1d 2d 3u 4d 5d 6d 7u 8d 9d 10d.

Any thought guys?

That is common when using that radio. In my opinion there is no advantage to using the SR radio. I would just use the stock radio. Just my .02 cents. Chuck

I guess that may be the option. I just don't like going from my regular transmitters to the toy like radio it cam with. Also it is so much more stable and easy to fly with sr one. I much prefer the longer gimbals and the overall control feel. So you think the radio itself is the culprit though. Thats a bummer. Guess I will put it back on the toy one and pass it off to the kid then.

If you use the stock radio and it works fine that eliminates the helicopter. The SR radio is setup to be mild on the SR so I believe that causes problems with the MCX. Just my opinion. Chuck

Might look into a used dx6i a buddy has and try that out. I know it sounds dumb but Im just very picky and if something isn't how I like it or It wont do what I want I wont waste my time being unhappy or frustrated. I'm a move on and stay happy kind of guy. I think the mxc is a neat, nice flying little bird but the toy radio just kills my flight experience. I feel more like im controlling a walmart toy as opposed to my $120 hobby grade chopper. I thank you very much for your input

I just bought a DX6I and bound it to all my Blade Heli's and love it. If you continue to add to your fleet this is a good transmitter to use unless you want to go with a DX7 or 8.Just one mans opinion.
