Way back I used to use the Arizona. I like the look of the Reactor but the cost is more. They seem to have the same features, what am I missing between the 2. I am planning this for my Trex 600 LE so I am concerned about fit.

Anybody have pictures of the either installed on thier heli, I would like to see how you have them installed.

Thanks
Mark

The Reactor feeds the high current directly to the collective/cyclic instead of through the RX bus. The RX gets a seperate power feed for its power, rudder servo and other uses. The RX voltage is also stepped down to 5.2V to be rudder servo safe, while the voltage to the cyclic servos is adjustable (6.0, 6.8 and 8.4V).

I just got my first Reactor X2. I love it! A few more wires but well worth it.

I really like the Reactor, so that is what I will get.

What Battery should I get?

Any of you have some pics of your X2 installed?

The Reactor feeds the high current directly to the collective/cyclic instead of through the RX bus.
There is also the Fromeco Kiwi.
That feeds the cyclic servoes directly, on gives 5V power the the rx.
The voltage is not adjustable.
I have used both the arizon and the Kiwi on my 90 heli with 3 8717 servos, with out any problems

i have a SGReactorX and a gryphon regulator. i like the reactorX better even though the gryphon looks great and is cheaper. i use 2s 2200mah 20c lipos on both my 50size and 90size helis and they are safe to fly for 4-5tanks before it reaches about 50% discharge on the lipos

Heres a pic of the SG X2 on a 600LE, and a F55. It fits the Align radio tray perfectly. The pic of the right side shows the GV1 opposite the X2. I use a 12" extension plugged into the X2 switch port. Then use one of the SG supplied jumpers as the switch.

The supplied X2 extentions fit nice and snug in the sockets on the regulator. No glue needed

I get 10 min flight times on the 600. After 2 flights, i put back in under 450-480 mah.

Spend a little more cash upfront for piece of mind. I sleep better at night knowing SG has my power needs protected.

Go Life

Use a Life 123 pack and get rid of all the extra hardware. Clean and simple just need one stepdown for the tail.
