I would be

confident that futaba will have all sorts of programming
options...
and telemetry has many more uses than most people appreciate till
they use it.

All audible parameters, thus heads up at all times, etc.

from Futabas facebook
Well you’ve been waiting for it, and here it is…How do you really upgrade an already hot 8-Channel radio? Well you make it a 14-channel radio, add support for Futaba’s CGY750 3-axis system of course, and you do it for FREE!

And that is just the tip of the iceberg, add in the ability to adjust the swash trim from the swash screen, VPP ...(variable pitch prop) support, stick calibration by the end user, a user customizable menu, the ability to assign any stick, switch or lever to any channel, turn the warning beeper on or off and much more.

The 8FG is now the ultimate 8-channel (ah…14-channel) radio.

Download the latest software from http://www.futabarc.com/downloads.html and put your 8FG over the top today!

The new 8FG Super (8FG with the new software) will be shipping soon for those that are in the market for a new system.

As I enjoyed the grammar in your post

They are Japanese translating to English, so I can cut them a bit of slack.

You have to call them. If you are not a member of their super saver club it pays to join. It cost $9.99 to join but you get free shipping on orders over$150 and right now if you use code 011BX you can save $50 off orders of $299 or more. You also get a free trial membership to Model Airplane News or Electric Flight magazine.

Well just ordered an 8FGH and a couple of extra Sbus receivers. Looking forward to trying out Futaba as I have been a JR/Spektrum user for about 10 years. I almost feel bad about just buying an 8fgh instead of the 8fghs, but I think in the end it will be an alright move. Now I will have to start learning how to use this new radio. Lots of questions coming up!

The 14Mz last for over 2 hours transmitting at full power!

It usually take like 5 mins to program a heli...unless you have to relearn how to setup all the flight modes everytime. Just make a generic and rename it and adjust it accordingly everytime

Im using the Fromco setup and the normal futaba setup. The Futaba packs dont seem to last as long but the Fromco stuff is great!

For me and my 2 motor Joker 3DD I definitely appreciate having all the extra knobs and levers...programming cant make up for that. Oh and has an annoyingly loud alarm

You can turn that transmitter into an S in about 10 minutes. Easy software upgrade. Then you'll be all set.

Enjoy it, and please ask questions.
