heres some pictures after i have weathered it. ive only used a little darker green. i think it should have been a little darker so it was more noticable. i think ive over done the aluminium dry brushing on door edges etc, i make try to paint over it with green.

anyway its my 1st attempt and overall im quite pleased.

I think that looks great! Weathered scalers have always been winners with me as they have just that much more realism to them. Very nice job so far on the build and painting.

have painted a few coats of lacquer on this evening, its easier than i thought it would be. a lot easier than painting with aerosols. the only thing is because its my 1st time with airbrush and the lacquer is clear im a little unsure how much is going on.

anyway, the coats of laquer seems to improve the look of the weathering that ive done.

IMHO you have done an awesome job on the weathering! It looks just like a couple of the older birds on my flightline back in the service. Now if you could only replicate the old protruding weather seals and oxidized cracked silicone around the windows, I would be amazed Great job!
