The learning curve

I thought I was going to get somewhere fast, but the faster I go, the behinder I get. As everyone knows, or should know, is that there is a big difference between fixed and rotary wing. Also there is a big difference between flying from the cockpit and flying from the transmitter. Being FAA certified in both fixed and rotary wing, and attempting to learn RC, I know from where I speak. I found the fixed wing to be reasonably easy to achieve, but the Heli is a considerable challenge. For those who are just getting started, an experienced RC mentor is a big advantage. So far, I have had some advice from a couple of practitioners in the club, and I appreciate that, but I'm still in some degree of confusion. HELP! Ps: After speaking with helismash today, I feel better

I run the BeastX in it. It seems to be working well. Just a different feel from a flybar.

Freeze Fly

Hey helismash - It is my intent to fly this winter with the skis and floats - If you and the bri-877 get me squared away with the Raptor30, I'd like to get some stick time with that too - I believe everything is ready except the throttle curve - I've been flying the 450 here in the yard, but it is a little close quarters - Once the liquid flying field freezes, there will be plenty of room - The Old Coot
