I live in PA and they have deregulated the supply of electricity making it possible for customers to save a considerable amount over paying their power company. The company I went with will end up saving me about $150 a year and can be found here: http://www.napower.com/peace. It's free to switch, no contracts, nothing changes except the lower cost per kilowatt of power you will pay. They are also hiring reps to do this as well at http://www.napowerbroker.com/peace and is a good way to make some extra cash to support your hobby fixes! The company is able to switch customers in CT, PA, MD now and will be in NY, NJ, and about 3-4 other states starting in February. They also have a fundraiser that they do for non-profits that is great as well. Worth looking at anyways - Warren Buffett said that the deregulation of electricity will be the single largest transfer of wealth in our history! Has anyone else made the switch where you live?
