Hi

The servo wires will stay in the same place..... assuming you will be powering them via the receiver....

I use a ReactorX between the VBar box and the servos. You said you will be using the one S-Bus wire between the V Bar box and the Rx.....

So it looks like all the wires may need to be 'de-glued'

Paul

Thanks for the reply
There's already a reactorx2 install between the servos and the vbar so the only addition i'm making beside removing the spectrum satelittes is adding the sbus connecting to the vbar

You shouldn't have to remove the servo wires to the vbar. They are the same no matter what receiver you're using. I just switched a heli with a Reactor X2 from Spektrum satellite to SBus and didn't have to change the wiring between the vbar and the Reactor.

Hi

With the ReactorX installed, it will be a quick setup.

Plug in the SBus Rx and you are good.

If you just change the Rx and calibrate your radio (both on the vbar software) , the 'old' VBar setup will still be there.

Paul

You should adjust pitch on the vbar itself. The only time I've had to adjust pitch is to even out the positive and negative pitch range.

Hi

I am no expert, but have +12 / -12 set for idle 1 and 2 and i use the Tx to reduce it to -6/+10 for hover.

Yea, I wasn't thinking that completely through. On my turbine heli, I don't have full negative pitch in normal. I guess I was thinking more along the lines of maximimum pitch.

can anyone verify for me that when you have to make a change of servo reverse does this have to be done on the vbar sofware only or can this be done on the 8fg and when the servo reverse is done in the vbar does it automaticaly change in the radio?

Have a look at my videos,
Http://heli.dacsa.net under vbar/vbar 101

Speciallyv5 setup, two videos.

You should only change radio to match TX calibration step.
