Hi all

Ive just bought a bell 222 fuselage for a winter project and il be using hirobo shuttle mechanics, this is my first time doing scale so im still learning as i build, and allready im abit stuck, got this fuselage second hand so its allready had some bits fitted, i was told it had been started to fit shuttle mechanics but my problem is the battery tray is hitting the front plywood sections (see pic) so my question is should i fit the mechanics without the battery tray? or do i need to move the plywood section forward more? the mechanics need shifting about 14mm forward in order for the main shaft to to line up properly

any help much apreciated

i would remove the tray. leave the woodwork alone, you can always relocate your batteries and electronics

X2, I would not cut the woodwork. You're gonna move the batteries around for the best CG anyway.

All helis and planes have an expiration date stamped on them...you only find it after you crash!!

the 30 air wolf (similar to the 222) with shuttle mechanics has had the battery tray trimmed down to fit inside the wood work
if you take the battery tray off the servo tray has no support
