The 600ESP Superior comes with the following motor 650L Brushless. The 600XL is also a 3D motor. Either would work.

I would go with the new motor supplied with the 600e which is the 600m.
You can find the 650l very cheap but it heats up quickly and doesnt have much for power. I have the xl and it has good power for all 3d matched with the right pinion.

600MX is really good!
I'm using it in a 550, but it's really consistent and has a lot more power tan the 600M motor.

Just listen to it, it's a lot quieter than the 600M and the rpm never seems to drop whatever I do (and I don't use governor):

Nice flying Bundian

I'm a believer...in the MX after that. Really impressive! Seems much more powerful than the 600M in my 550. Now I need something else

The 600MX was a very nice upgrade in my 550. Smoother and noticeable more power.

The 600M and 600MX are both excellent but they suffer from the same bearing problems as all Align motors. If you get a new 600MX and install Boca ceramic bearings before you run it the first time you will have an excellent motor.

The reason I say to change the bearings before you run it the first time is when the stock bearings fail they will cause the shaft to spin inside the bearing and damage the shaft. If you change bearings first you don’t have to change the shaft when you upgrade. Shafts can be changed ok but I think it’s a real pain to change them so I like to avoid it.

550 and 600 motors are all the same. Just use a slightly smaller pinion for the 600 (1 or 2t smaller). Or you can do like I do and run 550 blades on your 600 and use a 550 pinion. That really makes a nice combo and it almost has the same performance as a 550. The 600 is a bit of a pig when compared to the 550 with 600 blades and a 6s LiPo power system.
