I thought that was odd too, cant say Ive ever heard of letting the tires down in order to stop the 4wd floating away when driveing through a river, cant realy imagine it would make too much difference.

Then again I was also under the impression you dont need to lock the hubs on modern 4wds these days, I only found that out the other day when a mate put his Hilux into 4wd without getting out of the car, never seen that before until just the other day.

ED: just had another look, its not a late model 4wd, maybe 15 years old or more.

This side of the country is dry and hot, its turning into a big disaster over there, last I heard maybe even the capital may go under, I think 70% that state is been flooded.

There calling it an inland tsunami, I dont think the death toll will be anything like New orleans but I think the amount of flooding is on a much larger scale, maybe not really sure though.
