I think we are focusing on Pacer too much,you could use say a 98 Dodge Neon.A horrible car?,no,but not considered high quality.

I think we are getting off track,the OP was talking about someone who had addmittedly never flew ,owned,or built a heli yet was stating it was the best heli out.

Thinking the particular heli you bought is awesome, is fine and dandy,but stating it is better and out flies a heli you have 0 experience with,is completely different.

How about we use other examples, like the guys who swear spectrum is superior but have never even had a Futaba radio in their hand.Or the guys who dont like electric because the battery takes hours to charge they cost 300 bucks each and they last for 20 cycles.All things that are not true anymore and indicative of someone with no recent elec heli experience

Again we are talking about people who make statement about products they ADMITTEDLY have little or no experience with

I have known Mark for years and he is not one to rant over anything... but in this case, I can see why you jumped buddy!!!
I have to agree with you... there are a LOT of armchair quarterbacks on this and, as stated, all sites like it....
It doesn't take much to pick out the "trash" after you have been at this for awhile, but for a new person coming in completly green, it has to really be tough....and I too wonder why would someone post something like that with the only knowledge is from seeing one!!!! You gotta love it.....

It really goes to show you how many keyboard jocky's are out there and why new people in this hobby really have to sift through things to figure out what is legit or not.

The quicker new people in this hobby learn to take no notice of what they read on the internet the better.

They will discover what is legit or not from personal real life experience.

this is true but only to a point,, what if the guy that wrote that talked to 20 different good pilots on the net that owned said heli, and he knew that 2 of the Hobbies Top Pilots helped design this said heli, so he knew it was a good heli that flew very well,,

would that change things ??

I mean lets look at the Century Predator, didn't Henry Codwell and Kam Wyatt help design it, wouldn't or couldn't that impress someone enough to say what was said ?

Henry Codwell and Kam Wyatt as far as design credible statement due to reputations but then it's down to preference .in a perfect world people would post truth on their experiences but the need to one up creates a little competition and then comes the bent truth . It's all in fun but newbies can get discouraged with false facts .

I still think the Mini Titan 450 is the best 450 on the market, and have never flown any other 450 to this day

I do, but my wife insists it's drool. Not sure what to do with that. Right now my Rappy is a great and awesome helicopter because it is what I have and it is doing it's job.

True for the most part but that still doesn't mean the same heli will be the same experience for everyone. Some guys hate Align I don't own one but fly em at the field and think they are pretty Good, but the guys that fly Align at the field wouldn't touch what I fly with a ten-foot pole but that doesn't mean that I don't have Fun flying what they wouldn't fly, it just means that one mans Junk is another mans treasure Am I off-topic

still doesn't mean the same heli will be the same for everyone

everybody's different.that's why some are partial to certain brands.let someone else set up your heli and radio and see how well it flies.some people use expo some not,just an example,person A might be set in their ways in setting up a heli to the way THEY fly then person B flies the same setup and sees something different.
