Which one is the best? I just got the greaser and am looking for options..

Synthetic or Lithium based? High speed is a must as well as extreme pressure, and must retain in the bearings for extended periods of time.

I was trying to find the multiplex ep#2 grease... But they dont make it anymore... I do have a little of it coming from an extremely nice RR member looking to help out, but wouldn't mind some alternatives.

It would be nice not to have a black grease like the lubriplate brand as i'd like to see what the old grease would look like after I replace it with new grease.. Or maybe you can tell with the lubriplate stuff... I dunno.

Let me hear your experiences! And yes I do intend to grease, not oil!

I have Mobil 1 Synthetic grease in my "Greaser".
That said, I can't recommend Mobil 1 Synthetic. It is a bit too heavy for small bearings.

I don't like Lithium grease. Lithium grease can dry out. Once dry it forms into little granules that I fear could damage bearings.

I use TSC's premium tractor grease. Has really extended the life of my main shaft bearings.

Damn that ground is hard! When's the right time to get out of this money sucking hobby?

I don't know if it's specific to bearing use, but some car guys put me onto Gorilla Snawt. So far it's been great, stays where you put it and haven't had a bearing fail since using it. It's also green when new so when replacing later on it's black if dirt got in there etc...

Ebay is where I got mine, but sure there is a retailer that has it here somewhere. There main claim is all these other grease/silicone options out there weren't designed for RC and the high RPM's we put our grease through and there's has teflon in it to protect more then standard grease products etc... I don't know about all that but it works better then the only other grease I've used "white lightening" aka. traxxas one way lube.
