I sent an item off in a trade on DEC 27, 2010 . I checked online a couple of days later and the website says it should arrive on the 3rd.
Its is now Jan 11 th and the package is has not been delivered or updated in the system other than being accepted on the 27th. I have received my item but the other guy has not got his yet. We have good communication and things are fine and have since sent him more items "using priority of course".

So make sure you send items either PRIORITY or First Class. It should not cost too much more and will arrive in a reasonable amount of time.
and save alot of HEADACHE

regular shipping whether it is US or Canada, pretty much sucks around holiday season.
I have had way too many delays in the past. I would not worry, it will turn up at some point.

I make it a point to always send priority or expedited in Canada. It is worth the extra bucks to have peace of mind.

I had 2 packages sent from the same shop in Toronto, to my house (Montreal, Quebec)with a day apart..
One was express and received it in a day, and the other was regular and got it in 2 1/2 weeks !!!

I had a regular pack sent to US for a gyro and the guy received it in 6 weeks
Thank God he was understanding. Never again !

USPS rocks,UPS SUCKS.I just sent a JR9303 transmitter to Puerto Rico from Texas.I mailed it Priority last Fri.,1/7,and it got there Mon.,1/10.Now that's fast.

I do'nt crash,I just rearrange parts.

I like USPS, I just dont recommend sending packages using the package shipping service. Its too slow. I had to find out the hard way.

I always use priority.. Parcel post sucks... I hate when sellers try to save a couple bucks shipping like that. It usually takes a week or two..

I just could not imagine that anything mailed here in the US would take longer than 7 buisness days to arrive.

I know.. I could not believe that I sent something to Greece and it got there quicker than something I sent to the midwest... And that was priority too.. Like you, I learned not to use parcel post (unless you want it to take a while to get there:rolleyes) for shipping..

No way... the USPS flat rate boxes are MUCH cheaper to ship and you get all the same tracking... albeit a little less reliable in tracking but good enough.

Parcel Post sucks period, as it always takes about a month to receive the item to my location in Alaska. Happens all the time for me here most of the time when I purchase something in the classifieds.

Been doin great! Workin some bugs out of the 700, and flying the crap outta the 600. I love that machine, just put gas in it and fly it.

Your timing is perfect! The "chili" fun fly is the 23rd. Would be awesome to have a bunch of heli pilots there! We can line up the 700's and take a pic. Another buddy Dean is loving his new 700E Cool to watch another fly and get ideas for your own moves.

I am starting to get the hang of autos. The difference is AMAZING between the 600 and 700 hang time in the auto!

Sure for a receiver or something small but a 600 size heli or anything with any size USPS sucks.

You're not guaranteed anything with the USPS.
They are a joke in all areas including Express Mail overnight delivery. I've sent every type of mail (first class, priority, delivery confirmation, certified-return receipt and express mail) through their system with so many issues over the years. I used Express Mail to deliver documents to Florida from New York and they claimed it was delivered on their web-site when it wasn't. The documents took three days to arrive when it should have taken two. Right now I'm waiting for a priority package that was sent by a friend two weeks ago from Michigan, it still hasn't arrived. They are a complete mess.

HM... well I have had a very different experience... We ship hundreds of packages a year with USPS Priority Flat Rate and they all get there within 2-3 days... except for the off exception (ie weather)... Plus EVERYTHING I get from ReadyHeli makes it no problem... I have found it really does depend on your local post office tho.
