Only way to really test a tail is a reality test. Do a super fast hurricane, enter a funnel and examine the results in hold and in accuracy, slow the speed of the funnel now piro funnel and observe the consistency of the piro in regards to timing under some load.
Neat baseline desk test though, but there is no outside load on the tail in this type of test, nor a way to determine the piro rate consistency etc...
