I still have yet to see one single liberal show one strand of proof that either one is bigoted, homophobic or anything else for that matter
It would be impossible for them to say that the whole party is bigoted or anything, they can not generalize, but you know for sure that there are a few in both parties. Always has been and probably always will be.

exactly. How many times have you heard that the tea party is racist and homophobic, filled with hatred???? I hear it 100 times a day and read it even more that that, when nothing could be further from the truth. The only Hatred I see, comes from the Left. Honestly, I think most tea party members don't give a rat's behind about social issues at this time. Their main focus is to reel in this government and get back to our constitutional roots. And THAT is the real reason the Dems hate them, because to go back to our roots, means the end of them. Now, the 90% IDIOTS in that party, just blindly follow the media.
What cracks me up, is that every time I get into an argument with a LIB, they end up calling me a name, tell me to go back to my Beck and Limbaugh and go beat up a fag.
Funny, because I have watched maybe 20 minutes of Beck in my lifetime (can't stand his presentation, though I agree with what he says) and I haven't listened to Rush since probably the early 90's. So excuse me, but exactly WHO is getting brainwashed by the media??? It sure isn't me, or any of my conservative friends. I rarely watch Fox. If anything I watch more Lib news just to see what they're up to.

How true. I am easily drawn into the mud puddles when things get hot. One of the problems occur when each party furnishes such easy ammunition for each side to use.

We had a Republican that was going to be our governor a few decades ago. Clayton Williams was an oil millionaire that had a cakewalk into the governor's chair.

With a bunch reporters around during the campaign, Williams publicly made a joke likening rape to bad weather, having quipped: "If it's inevitable, just relax and enjoy it".

He was running against a woman.

He WAS going to win easily, but even the Republicans said they didn't want somebody that DUMB...not because of what he thought, but because he didn't have any better sense than to say it in front of reporters.

Dubnik is trying to cover for his own mistakes and neglegence in the handling handling the shooters past problems.

Too bad the Congresswoman wasn't speaking at a Tea Party meeting, that guy with the AR15 could have dropped the gunman before he got off a shot!

Correct. Because Dubnik is starting to show his Democrat colors, I'm concerned about what information will be released about Jared Loughner. Will they release complete information or just the parts that will best serve them?

I believe the leadership at the sheriff's level is in question.

This was a strategy developed for Clinton by Dick Morris. It was employed during the OKC bombing. And to some effect.

http://washingtonexaminer.com/polit...-political-gain
And then came the explosion at the Murrah Federal Building. In addition to seeing a criminal act and human loss, Clinton and Morris saw opportunity. If the White House could tie Gingrich, congressional Republicans and conservative voices like Rush Limbaugh to the attack, then Clinton might gain the edge in the fight against the GOP.
This is how the April 27 agenda began:
AFTERMATH OF OKLAHOMA CITY BOMBING
A. Temporary gain: boost in ratings -- here today, gone tomorrow
B. More permanent gain: Improvements in character/personality attributes -- remedies weakness, incompetence, ineffectiveness found in recent poll
C. Permanent possible gain: sets up Extremist Issue vs. Republicans
In fact there were dem strategists saying that Obama needed a OKC type event even before this happened. Watch this:
http://www.eyeblast.tv/public/checker.aspx?v=hdSUkUkUpr

That was posted nov 5th 2010. You can bet a lot of talking heads were thinking it but not saying it. The odds were good that someone would go nutty. 1% of Americans are said to be schizophrenic and many do not get proper treatment. We don't really do anything about it until they commit a crime. So they can be almost like a natural disaster in human form. They are running about while we blame inanimate objects or free speech for their actions. Chances were good that not only would someone go postal but they would ramble something against government because that is such a broad topic to fit things in. The political hacks knew exactly how to seize on that. Not because of Palin, or maps, or rhetoric, but because Clinton was able to turn himself around and they believe this is how Obama could. No they didn't cause it to happen, but they were waiting for anything to seize on. It is just very unfortunate for them that this guy was so far away from their caricature of their political opponents. He's an independent, didn't vote, started this obsession with the congresswoman back in 2007, and everyone who ever came into contact with him in the last several years was afraid of him. Plus if left wingers know how Clinton was able to spin OKC then so does everyone else. Its not a trick you can keep doing and not with everyone so connected and watching news unfold in real time. Now they risk a real backfire.

With more and more of the truth leaking around the main stream media via the internet it has become very difficult for Obama and his operatives to get away with something like this now.
We just need to remind everyone of things like this on election day.

Is Tucson Sheriff Dupnik covering something up?

Sheriff's Department and community-college officials in Pima County are refusing to release a wide range of public documents about the man charged in Saturday's shooting rampage that left six dead and more than a dozen wounded.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department and Pima Community College have declined to release documents that could shed light on run-ins they had with 22-year-old Jared Loughner in the months prior to the shooting.

The Arizona Public Records Law requires that records be "open to inspection by any person at all times" unless officials can prove releasing the information would violate rights of privacy or confidentiality or otherwise harm the best interests of the state.

The Arizona Republic requested that records, including incident reports on campus and calls for dispatch of deputies to Loughner's home, be released under the law. Such reports are often released as a matter of course in criminal cases.

Comments about the above article

Of course Sheriff Dip s h * t is hiding something. Any law officer that so wants to give the defense a course to take by falsely accusing the opposition is at best a liar, and at worst a thug.
If Pima county has any honor left (which I doubt) they'll suspend him, or impeach him. He's a disgrace to every honest law enforcement official anywhere.
Most states share the same mental health law whereby a mentally ill person can be the subject of a citizen's appeal to the mental health authority. If any citizen has reason to believe the person is at risk to harm himself or others because of his illness, that citizen can appeal to the county sheriff and ask to have the person picked up and evaluated at the mental health authority. (I know, I've evaluated hundreds of people in these cases.) If the person warrants a diagnosis and would benefit from treatment in a state hospital or mental health center, he will be referred to the court, where a judge will decide the matter: committment for treatment, or release.

It is quite likely that Sheriff Dupnik's troopers did not follow the law in the matter of Loughner, and not once but likely several times. The troopers themselves could have initiated the process.
This is the ONLY story we should all be talking about. This Sheriff spent days pontificating about everything except the facts surrounding this case. What better way to divert attention away from his department's possible prior involvement/malfeasance with this shooter than to come out swinging - setting up the straw dog that this shooting is the fault of the far right and talk radio.

Look at them - not at me. And as far as I can tell it has worked!

Stay on this story!

If that Sheriff down in Tucson kept saying that Gifford was a hot issue and her office was recently vandalized, then why didn't he have an armed deputy at her event?

1) He's just got a partisan big mouth
2) He's extremely incompetent.

Hmmmmmmmm

I wonder which it is?
