My cooling fan has lost one of it fins and vibrates quite alot. Ive been thinking about getting the Quick Uk Upgrade to replace it. Ive heard though that the belt rubs a bit on the bottom of the fan. Is this true?
Also have anyone notice any difference in the performance of the engine and smooth running once the metal fan was fitted. Let me know

I too lost a fin on my plastic fan and it broke the chrystal in the receiver causing a crash. I replaced it with the Correct metal fan and also got the metal clutch bell. The new fan did contact the clutch bell and I had to fabricate a thin shim to seperate the two. It took all of about 15 min to make.

The Quick Uk cooling fan works well, as long as you get the optional upgrade clutch bell the Kyosho produce. I bought the QuickUk fan and it rubbed against the drive belt! After upgrading to the Kyosho optional alloy clutch bell, I had no problems. This clutch bell has an upper flange on it ,to keep down the drive belt to where it should be.
