I like what i read there. And a software update should sort out any issues only IF required, don't think it will be required.

I think i'm going for the futaba system and a t-rex fbl head on my Raptor 90 electric, just waiting for the initial release to see what a cou[le of users will be saying about the system though it sounds promising thus far. Thanks

I personally would never buy a FBL system which uses mechanical pots to adjust the rates.

And I wanted a FBL system that didn't have two black sensors fail within 4 months.

hey rexxigpilot have you ever owned a micro beast? it flies really great and it's easy to set up...you shouldn't say anything if you don't know what you are talking about...

So far i'm torn between the Beast and the new Futaba system. I guess I will wait a while to see what you guys are saying about the Futaba system before I make a decision. I have a 700 just waiting for the FBL unit to be put on!

Ill be shocked if Feb is really the date it comes out, Futaba has had a past habit of delaying stuff.

Flew the Helicommand and V-Bar 5.1 yesterday (I guess I don't know what I'm talking about). HC did very well and it doesn't have trim pots. It has easy to use and has exact computer interface. These are the two best right now IMO.

Now, if you BeastX Microbeast fanboys have a different opinion, so be it. I would take a Microbeast over the Align 3G, but can't say it is the best, or even second best available. Would I recommend it? Sure, if that's all you can afford.

If you want to use all the functionality of the 750, you need Futaba Faast tx. I think does not want to switch to the Futaba tx in order to use all the functions available.

Well, I didn't know you have to use Futaba's TX to use all the functionality. I guess GY750 is off the selection stand for me as well.

The ONLY functionality you lose, is being able to adjust gain via the TX.
So you land, and adjust it on the gyro amp.

Better than using a laptop for almost every function I think.

Still doesn't change the fact that I can't use all the functionality for the same price paid when I stand next to a guy with Futaba radio. It's simple enough to design FBL system with universal compatibility. Now why would Futaba shoot their own foot is beyond me.

They didn't shoot themselves in the foot. Be glad that there is an adapter so that you can use it.
How often do you adjust your gain? Hopefully not often. Once its set, don't you just go fly? If it needs tweaking, remove the canopy and tweak it. You wont even need your laptop! Aren't you more interested in the performance which is why you bought the thing in the first place?

Now with that said, how about if Futaba does

Don't hold me to this but what if you will be able to adjust your gains remotely when using the Spectrum adapter by moving endpoints? This is assuming that your transmitter has enough channels to support the task. By my count it is at least 9 channels.

1) Will the adapter needed to operate all non Sbus recievers be included with the 750?

2) What is the max voltage that we can use with this system...6V or 8V?

What voltage are you using and what voltage regulator have you guys been using?

2) A straight 2S lipo. You can use the CC BEC Pro running at 7.5v

Actually merlin3, I don't understand why you are posting at all in this thread considering you don't even like FBL.

I disagree on fbl being the next great thing. I'm sure it will stick around and become even more popular but to me it is sort of a gimmick. I've flown vbar,beastx, and own totalg and still prefer flybar. The machine does what I tell it to and that's what I want.

Sfunny all the guys who have flown our flybarless machines have gone out and bought flbarless controllers, some diehard flybar guys, all cite smooth, power and goes where you want it with no correction as the reason they converted.
