Yes, I think I will do the BeastX with the full size Futaba Rx. I still have a Skookum SK360 I plan on using too. I know this is not the place for the discussion, but any idea how the SK360 with gyro compares to any of the FBL systems? It seems the discussion of the 2 axis FBL systems has rapidly lost traction. Additionally, it appears standard gyros are in jeopardy and 2 axis systems have virtually disappeared.

If it is for scale type flying, the 360 will work fine. The disadvantage of the 2 axis systems in the inability of the cyclic gyros to "talk" to the tail gyro so the system lacks in some of the piro moves. I don't think you are going to be doing piroflips with a scale ship so you will be fine.......Ron

LOL
The SK360 can do a lot more then just scale flying.
Not all of us are into piroflips.
Any other aerobatic 3D maneuver is just fine with it.
It's a lot more capable then people give it credit for.
Have a look at YouTube videos to see what it can do.

that gyro will need an interface to run with spektrum/jr radios the only way to hook up to receiver is through a s-bus port better off going with vbar

Sounds good. Anybody remember the Gaui 365? I got one of those too. Just so little info available on those now.

The SK360 can do pretty much any 3D move you throw at it with a proper tail gyro backing it up. Definitely not a Scale Only unit. I learned all of my piro moves on SK360 on my T700 ships. I like the tail much better on the Total G or a fully modded 3G, but the SK360 did fine.

You might see a few small quirks on really fast piro moves, but nothing that you cannot fly around.

You can go with Mikado Vbar. I'll stick with Futaba CGY750.
It does require an S.Bus receiver, or the adapter for non S.Bus receivers that Futaba will also have available.
You know I have no need for a stab system anyways.
My NOBAR helicopters fly just fine without.

I will only trust my hard earned money with Futaba.

The CGY750 is the only choice for me. Set it and forget it.

Not required sir.

Please see the thread titled "People are funny".

No need to stay at a Holiday Inn Express to understand that Futaba is capable of impressive engineering.

....oh yeah..It certainly does not hurt the issue, that they went with a "ring" mems sensor verses the tuning fork junk that everyone else is using.

Vibration ? whats that !

Futaba = vapor ware

Until it's in the hands of the every day User and the fan boy period has past, we won't know how good it will be.

Nobody else likes the Total-G? It's soooo good, but if you don't trust me just try it! Take for example the quality and performance of all of Curtis' products! Top notch, nobody can deny . It was/is my first experience with flybarless, and i will NEVER go back! Flies amazing!
