Upstate New York isn't looking too bad right now!
I knew that this place would become the vacation capitol of the world if I waited long enough

Man that sucks!
Got a little rain here in Central Florida
Now we are in for nothing but 68degrees, sunshine and 5-10mph winds!

Pending Rain, Club is still flying 7 days a week!

All 12"s of it and it is suppose to stop tomorrow around 12 noon
heck 12" of snow, that's called a dusting here in PA. I kept a bulldozer in my barn to clear snow from my road. My snow removal equipment consisted of a plow truck, international bulldozer, massey ferguson tractor with a grader blade, small garden tractor with a plow, etc. etc.

I so do not like the snow but our winters are cold for a couple of months, just give me 80-90 degrees and now were talking.

Finally had to take a road trip 1 1/2 hrs and drove up to the mountains around 6,000 ft just to take the kids to play in the snow, sure was warm in Grandpa's motorhome, I think I got out once.

Left to right would be my two, Darryn & Donovan, Ryan is the nephew on the right licking snow off of his glove.

I wish snow still cool to me like when I was a kid. The novelty wore off once I realized I still have to go to work in it.

Never worried about driving in it. 4WD Jeep makes it easier. I get more worried about the guy who passes me and is doing 70 in the snow. Most of the time, I find them on their roof a few miles down the road!

that rc snowmobile looks sweet. Where can I get one?

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

Yes, driving in the snow would be sweet if the road were all yours, but unfortunately most driving involves sharing the road, and 4X4 does little to help you stop.

Yep, usually when you hit the guy in front of you, that slows you down a bunch.....

Its snowing here at a good clip. WooHoo!!!

I wish snow still cool to me like when I was a kid. The novelty wore off once I realized I still have to go to work in it.
+1

I work in residential and commercial construction and its mostly outdoors. The only good thing I get out of it besides pay is my body has become acclimated to the cold air over the past many years so when flying my heli in frigid temps doesn't pose a problem to me.
I'd still take sunny and 70 degrees any day but do appreciate a sunny windless 20 degree morning with a fresh blanket of snow covering the earth. Firing up my Nitiro helicopter.
Yes, driving in the snow would be sweet if the road were all yours, but unfortunately most driving involves sharing the road, and 4X4 does little to help you stop.
With the 4x4 you just hit the gas and go around whatever is in your way.
I don't worry about sliding into another vehicle. Its the other vehicles I worry about sliding into me.
I love my 4x4. It goes quite well in the snow.
Plan your stop, don't drive like a moron and there's no problems.
