I recently contacted Matt Botos about the shortage of Aluminum main shaft blocks for us N and E9 owners, Synergy makes them for the N5 so i asked if they would make some N9.
He said he could possibly start making them if there was enough demand. So is there? Make a post here let me know, i told him ill contact him with some numbers asap. Thanks Dan

PS: maybe if we get one upgrade going they will start making more for the N9's

Put me down for some. I would also like to see an update to the starter shaft and bearing block, similar to what Kasama designed for the N9...then again I might just go for the lovely E9 conversion instead..

Would really support a clutch/starter shaft rework, similar to Kasama, or a complete redesign with a one way

This is the response i got from Matt, it would have been nice but maybe at a later date.

Hello Dan,

I'd love to make these parts for you but at these quantities the bearing blocks would be a ridiculous price. In order to keep the prices reasonable I have to order quantities of 500+
I'll give you an example.... To prototype the N5 main shafts cost me 125 dollars for 3 main shafts. The main shafts now retail for 10 each. The setup of a Cnc lathe or mill takes more time than it does to run the majority of the parts.
I'll tell you what though.... I am getting ready to start redesigning the N9. I will be certain to leave the dimensions compatible with the old N9 so that the new bearing blocks can be used on both machines. I don't have a time frame as of yet because there are two projects in front of the new 90 but I will certainly let you know as soon as soon as I have something for you.

Sincerely,

Matt
