You think its coming to come out at the top of the pack at its release. Offering more than the others with no major issues?

It looks nice for the price.. Futaba has always been on top of the gyro market that's for sure.. I'm reading it comes out in March.. I flew my first flybarless system this weekend, (Total G) and granted it was setup by a local pro who knows what he is doing, I was majorly impressed with the way it flew.. Gyro technology is amazing stuff!

Yes you can use Spektrum.. Apparently there are a few benefits to using the new Futaba SBus technology and maybe some 14MZ BIOS updates, but those are unclear at the moment.. Dr. Ben would know more..

The 750 will be useable with JR/Spectrum/ATX equipment with an adapter. It won't be as elegant or tidy as Sbus, but it will allow the mfg's to play together.

The 14MZ already supports triple gyro menus to allow the user to adjust all three gains from the transmitter. The 8FG will aquire this capability with upcoming firmware. Other mfg's radios will likely require gains to be set in the amplifier.

I have seen many many flights of this system. It also looks easy to set up, the pilot testing it demonstrated install and setup for me this past weekend. It's awesome and I've got two on order with SBus RXs as well. I can't wait for its arrival.

+1
All my gyros are Futaba and would never switch for any other brand.
I fly NOBAR and after hearing about the 750. I will convert one of my machines over to the futaba fbl system and see what the electronic power steering is all about.

I would be very comfortable with a preorder. The unit has been well tested, and the firmware is updateable if changes need to be made later on based on customer feedback.

Guys read this link, most all the questions have already been discussed.

The number thing I'm curious about on the Futaba FBL vs all others is the many reports that it flies more like a flybar than a flybarless. In other words, like a hybrid of the two.

That's an estimated arrival date. All good if it comes in that early but I doubt it.

No, mine is on backorder as well. The information I've given is firsthand account from my friends who have flown the product and from the gentleman who has overseen the product R&D in the US.

We're hopefully on track for the February delivery.

I think that is why the MicroBeast is gaining a lot of fans, it feels like a flybar. I personally like the Flybarless feel of a Vbar. It just depends on what feel you like. I am not overly excited to try a MB, but I have always been a fan of Futaba. I am going to purchase a N5 or X50 specifically to try the Futaba system.

Don't be scared of the Beast...that unit flys extremely well in my opinion and is cake to program. I was very surprised...I'm pretty sure I may see some opposition for saying this but from what I felt when I flew one I felt more comfortable flying it than a V5.0 Problem is I didn't personally setup either of the units I tried so maybe the Beast was setup better.

I'm sure will make a great first effort in the fbl world but I,m sure the end uses will scare out a few over sites that will call for some firmware updates...nothing unusual.

A little birdie told me the Futaba FBL unit will have different "modes", so you can pick between "flybarless feel" and "flybar feel" (my descriptions, not Futaba). Kind of like how the current Futaba gyro's have multiple modes (F3C, 3D, etc).
