you do not use the same throttle curves as you would with a electric

90% thr curve on a nitro is like lighting a stick of dynamite

and happy new year

They do not have the same oil content. I have run heli fuel in a car before but I wouldn't run car fuel in a heli unless you add oil to it to compensate.

Car fuel is lower oil content- I think around 16%. Not recommended unless you add more to compensate.

Car fuel has a MUCH lower oil content. I've seen oil content listed in the range of 8 to 14%. Some fuel (O'Donnell) says it has a special lubricant package that makes it "equivalent" to 18%.

Heli fuel should be at least 18% oil, the demands for cooling and lubrication in a heli motor are much greater than that for the smaller car motors due to the limited cooling available, and the fact that a well-tuned or governed heli motor pretty much rums wide open or under higher load demands for longer periods of time than a car motor.

I ran some heli fuel in my revo yesterday and it didn't run much different. As for putting car fuel in a heli I wouldn't advise it.

Car Fuel

Car Fuel has around 11% oil content, the engines turn upwards of 30,000 RPM, the thicker oil will burn up a car engine at high RPM. Bobby

All I use in my nitro cars (revo)is heli fuel . I like it because oil content will let me lean out more with cooler temps . Motors last longer without bearings going bad from 30% fuel

I stole it ,flew it and gave it back ;)
