I am starting a new build and have a couple questions:

Why would you run the engine in the forward position?

Do you guys run all of the stock parts or should I upgrade anything as I build?

What blades do you guys use?

If you have a stock engine sent it to either Hanson or Toxic and have it modified, result it will be smoother and more power. I run the engine forward, it puts the tank more under the c/G , easier to see to fuel and check level, no holes need in canopy. If using the Hatori muffler it mounts more ever with the mechanics. With the Tempest head use either 690/710 blades. I am using 710 Radix now. No upgrades needed you can add bling as you go.

Thanks, hey one more thing that is killin me.

I started to assemble the head last night and it looks nothing like what is shown in the assembly manual. Looked on the ma website and found nothing that looks like it. The head block is a single piece and instructions show a 2 piece design. What am I missing here?

Nope, probably doesn't...

Looks good so far..

Download the Xcell fury extreme manual and look at that. It will have better pictures of the flybar cage you are building.. I think the Stratus manual may show it too..

I am building a tempest head kit and there was a single sheet of A4 included. If I remember right the paper was in the same bag with head parts. The sheet shows the new head construction.
