i know mo val is bit out in the sticks for most of the OC crowd, but you are welcome to come out here. pretty much all helis, and as Bill said, wide open flying over brush, but take off/landing area is non travled asphalt road, so if you have smaller airplanes bring those too. we are not a club, but do recommend AMA. And if you like Thai food, we have some great after flying restaurants!

Moreno Valley is pretty far for us O.C. guys.

I wouldn't even drive to Whittier Narrows and I think that is closer.

Moreno Valley is a looooong way.

Thanks, TheWoodCrafter

Ya.

Mo Val is far. Thanks for the invite.. might stop by if i am in the area.... But then again I've been saying that for years... One of my friends flies there.

Anyone fly today? I wanted to fly but it was a bit windy. Hopefully tomorrow.... OCRCC in the morning and possibly stop by at Bake in the afternoon.

Too windy for me today. I was in the area of Bake this morning and the flag at Oakley was standing straight out. Tomorrow does not look much better either.

It takes me right at an hour to get to Theodore from Mission Viejo. A bit longer coming home in traffic. It is more open than Bake (if you can imagine that), you can park and pit right in your trunk, then turnaround and there is a paved road (zero traffic dead end road) to fly from. Worth the drive for me.

I went to ocma this afternoon. It was deserted and very windy. I decided not to fly because it was too windy.
