I'm building a Spectra-g and installed a 16 Dubro tank. How should the clunk line go inside the tank? Should the line have a loop or go straight close to back wall of the tank? Are the filter and silicone(?) hose included in the kit ok?

Use a Hayes black rubber tubing for the clunk line, they seem to be more flexible and stay that way.

Use a Walbro felt clunk, part number 615-912.

Go straight back almost to the read of the tank, that is fine.

NO, the stock clunk hose included in the kit is too thin/small, and will not allow for proper fuel flow for the larger motors. I don't use it. And also no, the stock clunk is not suitable, over time it will plug up.

Hayes Clunk Line

I think this is the clunk line Raja is referring to. I have used this quite a bit in my nitros and it works great. One thing I wasn't sure of is its compatability with gas fuel.

Raja - is this the clunk line you are referring to?

Thanks guys.

Nick
