Hi guys,

I am so pleased with the electronics placement and wiring job I did on my latest build that I decided to share some pics here...

All the servo and extension wires were cut to perfect length, crimped, and most of them fitted with braided wire wrap...

This is by far my best wiring job ever! It only took about 2 months!

Here are some pictures:

Regards,
G

Hi George

Very cool job. The pictures don't do it justice......

Now all you need is to teach me how to crimp the wires with new plugs.....

Great rebuild. esp the wiring..... and i know how you hate doing it!!!!

Paul

Looks great, Gorgin. What crimpers did you use? I've been trying to find a decent pair.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the nice comments.

@Paul,
thanks for all your help along the way. I don't think I hate the wiring job as much as before. Shorter wires make the whole job REALLY easy!

@AMorgan,
Below are the tools and plugs I use. I got them from a local electronics shop for like $10 or so... I use the front (smaller) slot of the crimper for normal servo plugs. It takes a few tries to get them perfect though! I also custom make my own servo extension cords now. Its nice to get them down to the perfect length.

Regards,
G

excellent job with the wiring. It's almost like it is wireless

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

These are the best crimpers you can buy. They also sell all the connectors, pins, and servo wire.

Makes a world of difference when wiring a heli!
