Come on flyco, don`t take forever like mikado to convert a 50 size to a 90.

There`s quite a few furion 6`s at my field but i want a 90 size.

You need to see the other threads on this. New 90's are in the plans for 2011, be patient, you know it will be right when it hits the market.

Not using any names but on conversations they are looking at a 90size that can go either nitro, gas, or electric similar to what Curtis has done. Not for sure that its FlyCo's call it in the hands of the MA group with Brain James being the driving force on what they ae/will be working on. Flying Xcell's for a long time I won't guess as to the timing for the release date......2011?

That is what turns me off with rave, not being specifically built for either. I want a bird that is strictly nitro or electric, not both. I know it saves a company time and money but I don't like the way you have a huge empty space for a nitro engine and and you decided to convert your nitro to electric. If you converted a nitro to electric, that's fine but to design a kit that way from the start, yuck. I am glad MA has taken the path with the Fury 55/Furion 6. although the 55/6 share a lot of parts they are two different birds designed for their specific type of power systems. MA please stick with your current way of doing things because you are in my opinion making a strong comeback on the current path your on.

The biggest reason there won't be a "Furion 9" at least in the context of a "stretched" Furion 6, is because we simply havent found a belt that is suitable. Also, the Rotorhead was designed as a "50" size rotorhead, and was never engineered for the loads generated by "90" sized blades.

With that being said we're working on an all new "90" size platform (meaning rotorhead, and tail rotor drive system). We are working on nitro, electric, and gas as well.

And for Pcskyhi, thank you Each model will have a frame layout specific to it's power system unlike the other model you mentioned.

Furion 6

I love the way the 6 is laid out it`s so simple.

You mean you can`t put a bigger head on it and make it a torque tube?

Quite a bit of work for sure, the TT is doable, but you won't like the price. The belt drive system allows the model to be priced like a "50". When you do that, it essentially becomes a "90" size model, and the price comes with it.

We will have an electric model this year that I think everyone will be very pleased with

Hey MinAirUSA,

I love my Furion 6 FBL, looking forward to a 90 size electric from MA. I hope you are designing a helical cut main gear for it? And a battery tray that is easy to install and remove...one of the nicest features on the Furion 6!

I see that Align has this gear option for the 700E, similar with Mikado, allowing a much quieter and stronger gear train. I just want to see a superior design, made in the USA!

Will there be some sort of waiting list through the retailers for this model, or will it be first come, first serve?

When will we get some snapshots of this new generation helicopter, summer is right around the corner.

The way Im reading it, there is a bunch of people holding out, just waiting on this 90 package. Is there a updated date you expect this model to be released?
