the .30 raptor met a rather unfortunate accident, I dont have time to fix it this week, perhaps even as late as next and I would really like to continue to learn hovering and such...the xcell was kinda a good deal at the time and I was saving it to fly later when I had some more skill.

I had someone test it out and it appears to hover and run fine.

so should I chance it? eventhough I can do without training gear I think I'll use it on this one just in case

If it was checked out ok, Then I would give it a shot . but , I would have my training gear on just to be on the safe side Just my two cents.
Do what you are comfortable with.
