Hello guys.
a friend of mine filmed me fly my heli - total 8 mins flight, and the file from the cam (digital) came out 1.8GB in Avi format, i burned it on a DVD and have it on my hard drive, this is obviously such a large file because of the high quality and AVI format.

what format should i convert it to ? and how ? i want it to be reasonable enough in size to upload to a server for you guys to see. i would appriciate a quick explination about the conversion.

thanks.

DivX Is your best bet. I use it to convert my Raw Avi files to Mpeg 4.

http://www.divx.com
http://www.flaskmpeg.net/

Those 2 sites will give you all the tools you need. Hope it works for you.
