I am in a flux with gearing ratios and need some advice from the experts on this.

Would I benefit from changing my standard gearing ratio on my Raptor 30 to a 85T gear and a 10T pinion like on the raptor 50? Blades are carbon 550 mavvericks. and the engine is a TT.39.

What would the effects be from this modification

The 8.5 gearing is for the 50's, not the TT39. I think if you ran these two, the TT39 would have some serious cooling issues. Think of yourself on a ten speed bicycle, going uphill in eigth gear. You would probably not be comfortable. Stay with the stock Rap30 gears.
