251

I may have missed this part of the discussion. I would not recommend the 251 on 6 volts. I also recommend voltage regulators over step downs. They are more reliable in my humble opinion. I agree with 9251 or S251. I have even used it on my 500 with great results.

okay i have my setup, everything is perfect..whats setup on my tx is on the vbar program..my tail servo has NO binding whatsoever, everything is fine except im still not getting right input...when i spool up its still spinning CCW so i give it right input which stops it from spinning but thats all..and i noticed when i have the tail servo with 0 degrees pitch while the blades are spinning it spins CCW not fast, medium speed...ANY suggestions now!!? im getting frustrated with flybarless vbar!!

Vbar will always drift a little on spoolup, either you need to center it with the stick or make sure you have negative pitch.

How much are we talking about?

what do you mean have negative pitch? okay also to get this clear..lets say i fold the tail blades both in towards the front of the heli and i give it right input on my transmitter so bringing the rudder stick towards the center of my transmitter (giving it right input) should the top or bottom blade be outward or away from the heli? also when i have the blades folded in like that and i turn it on its almost exactly lined up so i think my tail servo is centered.

thank u so much for ur help i have been on this for about a month now its frustrating

You should have 2-3 degree counter torque, same direction as if you move stick to the right when you are in setup mode.
Use pushrod to adjust this.
(its not critical with exact 2 degree etc, close will do)

instead of using the pushrod ive been just moving the actual position of the tail servo is that the same thing? also do u happen to know when i move my rudder stick on my tx to the right do u know which blade moves right? or the trailing edge or leading edge? or any trick to make sure its in correct direction, even though i know mine is..ive been moving the actual tail servo down the tail boom to align it

Not sure I follow exact problem you have, Does it drift slowly? Or do it counteract the wrong direction?

My last instance of a 650 failing was at Ircha while testing Felipes T-Rex 700E spinning at over 2300 rpm on 690s, safe to say losing the tail in a wall was a freaky experience and was fortunate to recover and land it.
I remember that.

Does MKS only make one tail servo? The 980? Seems like a pretty good servo.
