Stock tail blades grips and slider

Ok here is the story...and it is a dumb one.
I was flying at lunch time (I like to get stick time as I can)and my cell phone started to ring, since I am supposed to be working I tried to set it down quickly and answer the damn phone. Well I landed a bit to quickly and stuck the tail rotor in the dirt. An audible "grrrrriiiipppp" could be heard. I shut down the engine (and missed the call) to find that the belt had loosed way up due to the boom being pulled inward. I re-tightened up the belt and all seems ok...but what should I be looking for in terms of what else may be damaged?

Check for any cracks in the tail rotor hub.
One time i had a tailblade with bladeholder seperate from the tail, caused by a little tailstrike a few flights before it happend.
The tail rotor hub was broken by the beginning of the bladeholder. Probably the little tailstrike made a minor crack in the tail rotor hub and seperated the blade from the tail due to the forces.

Lucky enough i was only hovering low to the ground and could set it save to the ground. Imagine what would have happend when i was much higher in the sky....

check the belt to verify that it isnt stripped at all.......

I also had a Tail rotor fail after tapping the ground, a few flights later
the hub broke."Fury"
Another thing that could happen is the grip bolt or nut could be loosened, happened to me also but caught it before failure."Hawk"
I think it's a good idea to pull it apart and inspect the tail after any contact with the ground, unless it's something like lightly cutting some grass.

And also the tail spindle could have gotten bent. I replaced mine after having one of the blade holders part company from the heli. I replaced the spindle because I could not get the hub off with out using some more aggressive measures so said to myself the heck with it & replace it now keep the old one for a spare. Work on it later to get the hub off, well I did get the hub off. I found a hairline fracture on the spindle right at the edge of the hub & from the looks of it through a big ass magnifying glass it appears to have been cracked for sometime. Lucky me.

For sure those nasty set screws, that are the axles for the blade grips, and anchor the hub to the out put shaft. You won't see the damage to them, until it pitches the blade grip in flight, with subsequent piro and boom strike to follow.
