3 weeks and she (my Falcon) is in the air again, well, for 1 tank anyway,,, I only got to do 1 little circuit, the rest was just hovering around setting curves, tuning and getting the tail to stay straight, but just from that 1 flight I can tell that she is going to be very smooth, I have had 1 other set of Vortex "for 6 flights " but that was way back in the beginning of the spring, so I forgot just how smooth these blades are, all summer I have been flying Evolution blades, they are a nice blade for $65, but these Vortex blades are better,,, now that I think about it the first time I had that first set of Vortex I don't think I had the bigger 60B carb, and adding that carb smoothed out my motor, so she should be quite smooth at the field tomorrow,,,

1 other thing, the weather has broke here in Vt, the hot, muggy wet air is gone so she should be quite powerful tomorrow,,, I can't wait !!

Jim,
Give the Rotortech 600mm fully symetricals a whirl if you think those Vortex blades are nice! MUCH better blade IMHO.

Love them Vortex Blades, although chordwise they are thinner than most blades, which means higher head speed, yeah baby

who the hell typed hawkflier instead of hawkflyer? Must have been that red headed stepchild of mine

rotortech 600 MM

Jim
The rotortech 600 s are awsome !. I have them on my voyager 50 and I love them to death. They are a little CG conservative and are slightly slow compaired to my v blades of the same size but man do they auto. Plenty of umph at the end and on a 50 size machine. Got to love that !

Thats what I had on the voyager at the show jim. inverted piros with no effort but she would roll like a bandit still. well nuff said !!! You saw them in action so im wasting words here !

P.S. We need a heli get together weekend. before the snow flies. mabe invite some of the other NY VT MA century guys also to get together.
