Creating a bootable disk for CSM interfaceHi Derril,
I have yet to see if my Gyro issue is solved, But this should help. If anyone else out there has suggestions let me know....
To solve the XP problem:
1. Make a DOS Bootable Disk- to do this place a 3.5" floppy in your drive. now open "My Computer" and LEFT click on the "A:" drive icon. Select "FORMAT". Toward the bottom of box, you will see "Format Options". Check the box that says "Create a MS-DOS Startup Disk". Click the "Start" button in that box and wait till the operation is complete. This disk will allow the computer to boot directly to a DOS prompt.
2. Copy ALL of the Gyro files on to this floppy disk. This will allow us to access the program from DOS.
3. Now restart your computer with the disk still in the drive. Eventually you will get to "A:\". Type GYRO after the command prompt and the program should start as normal, but now be running independant of Windows XP, 2000, or NT.
4. From there follow the instructions on the screen.
That should do it. If I have made any mistakes please let me know. This problem has had me scracting my head for a while, but thanks to Runryder we might be able to get this to work at last....
As always Thank you.
