Have separate speed controls on HB - Castle Creations Pixie-7P for tail. The instructions indicate that it has to see low stick before it will arm. But on the rudder with gyro won't it will power up at mid range and not arm.

Do you have to hold full right rudder until it arms or something?

Thanks

Doc,
You need to leave the stick centered for a few seconds after applying power to let the gyro stabilize, then hold the stick full left for a second or two to arm the ESC.

Yes, but I just hold my stick a tad left to arm the tail esc, when If first did it, I held it full left and when it did arm it was way off center, I hold it just a tiny bit to the left for a few seconds and it works out perfect. I guess you just have to experiment, every radio may be a bit different...

A lot of gyros sense the center position right after power up. This process could take up to 5 seconds or so. You have to make sure you leave the rudder stick and trims centered for at least 5 seconds after powering on the gyro. If moving the rudder stick all the way, changes the centering, then you probably haven't waited long enough before moving the stick.

Hi, I do wait a few seconds, it works fine though when I just move it a couple of mm to the left to arm but when I hold it all the way or a lot to the left, the motor starts revving when I let go as if the point I had the stick in was the zero point..........
