Ok I weighed my Raptor 90 the other day, no fuel, total weight with blades was 12lbs 2oz's on a digital fish scale.

I have Nhp Razor 700's, 105 MAH tails, Long aluminum boom and braces, 90 clutch, Webra 91, and metal head and swashplate, Sub C 1800ma pack, Hatori SB-15 muffler, stock canopy. I don't have the big beefy doublers on the frames.

I weighed another R90 with an OS 91 cspec and the frame doublers and it was the same weight.

What are your R90's coming in at?

In the end I want to know where I can save some wieght and how much weight I can save. For the guys running Carbon frames and maybe carbon gear, what are your weights?

I weighed mine with a couple other scales. My fish scale is out a little. My R60 comes out at 11LBs. 10 OZs or around 5300 grams. So you are over a pound lighter. I wonder what the difference is. The new SE has CF side frames right? I can't see that it would be the CF frames alone. A pound is alot. Some of it may be the Webra 91 I guess. It is a larger, and heavier motor than the other 90 size motors.

Anyone else weigh their stuff.

used bathroom scale

I just weight mine because everyone always asks, and I tell them I don't know. All I have is a bathroom scale and it reads 11 lbs. exactly. That is the new proto type that I have. Metal frames, metal boom. It is the one used in the video in Southern Ca.

I think it would be reasonable that everyone uses properly calibrated scales calibrated the exact same way and also the same scale... This info is not really usefull becasue of margin of error on what is being weighed and how...
