Has anybody here ever ordered anything from Helihut? I ordered a Raptor 50 V2 kit with TT50 engine from them about three weeks ago and when the kit arrived 3 days later, the engine was not in the box. I called them imediately and the guy said he would ship me an engine. Here I am, almost two weeks later, the model is complete, ready to go with electronics but no engine. I called them and emailed them but got no response. I was hoping I could fly this heli this weekend for the Reno fun fly. I guess I won't now. I'm really disappointed and frustrated about all this. I'll think twice about ordering anything from them again. I'm sorry but thats how I feel about this right now.

The road less traveled is less traveled for a reason, duh.

Helihut has good prices, but when you have a problem they are very slooooow to respond. I feel like I'm in a ghost town when I visit their site, no updating lately, and I emailed Charles a few weeks ago with a question, and never heard back, so I'm not to quick to order from them lately!!!

I ordered a TT39 from them. It did not come in a box. It had a Raptor motor mount attached to it. No extra O-rings or tools either. I guess I got an extra motor mount out of the deal.

I would let them off once if they forgot one part out of a load of spares, but you'd think they would manage a heli+engine package!

I ordered a set of the raptor 30/50 aliminium skid braces a while ago from ebay.com and because of some confusion with the international shipping costs, I paid a couple of cents less and they didn't bother to email and tell me even though I asked them nicely to email me if there was any problems at all, just kept it. It took me a couple of emails many weeks later asking where the hell it is and they then told me I was a few pennies short.

I won't see that service from any of the UK shops, next time it's cyberheli for the cheap stuff!

HELIHUT SUCKSSSSS !!!!!
Sometimes I recieved stuff that was not complete and also missing small items but the worst was when they sent me an aftermarket part after having paid for TT original. That fellow at HH is weird.

HH

I ordered a R50 from them and they came in with the low price of all and shipping was not a ripoff like with other gray market shops, these places save us some hard earned cash but we still need to support our LHS, This is the first I have heard of problems from HH, you could always take a trip to HI and pick up the part

Good feedback guys.............
I've thought about ordering from the HeliHut and the other rc shops
not in the cont USA to save some money, but I don't think the possible hassles are worth it
The domestic heli shops are pretty competitive on pricing due to
the gray market and pricing amongst themselves nowdays anyway.

Just a FYI

Heli Hut is not a athorized dealer for Thunder Tiger, or Ace products. If you have any trouble with them, unfortunately you are pretty much on your own. We do not warranty products that come from Heli Hut. I've had to deny people warranty claims because of this. I think that it is a fair policy, considering that they are a grey market dealer and they do not get their product from us. Personally, I think it is worth the couple extra dollars to get a factory warranty. Just my .02

These people at Heli Hut are really weird! Who the hell is looking for a scale Ferrari engine for $ 4000 or $ 4500 (Whatever). It's right there in their website under "new products". Can somebody explain that to me?
I think that Rick's and Heliproz ( U.S. stores ) are much better than those clowns in Hawaii and Heliproz answers the phone right away so they got me. I like it when you can talk to a person not a machine.
