Would a 3000 MAH pac be to much weight for a raptor 30 V1 tired of downtime due to charging??

I run 4 1100mah fast charge capable sanyo AAnicads, I charge them at 2 occaisionally 3 amps ,have done for 400 tanks, I find that the charge time isn't a big deal if I hook up the charger before I start my refuel.
I usually charge each refuel it will do 3 flights on one charge. I run all digitals bar the throttle.
I do this so I can run a light battery pack, I added ~80 grams and it auto'd and climbed out like a horse. If money was no object run lithium polymers and a regulator.

IMHO
The one wee prob with swapping out is the stress to the connections increasing the chance of a failure, how many reconnections are the connectors rated for ?

My friend and I use 2400 mah Batteries America nicad on all our helis with great results ( More flying-less charging ). I will never take one battery out and place another at the field, I think this is nothing but TROUBLE!
Incidentally, I do have a Supernova but when I use it the 12 volt battery in the box goes low.

I have never had an issue swapping packs out.

I also make a ply battery shelf to get CG correct with the smaller packs I use.

Lets get real about this.

I charge my heli the night before. I fly it 3 times the next day. I could stretch it to 4 but don't cause I have 2 other helis I want to fly. So if I fly all 3 helis 3 times that is 9 flights. At that point I really don't want to fly anymore.

If I did want to fly more I could swap the packs or charge them with my triton @ the field.

I realize not everyone has more than one heli. If that is the case, a second pack is the best option since you are going to have to swap out or charge your TX battery, too.
