i'll usually use Monokote Trim sheet
or MinAir blade covering material.

Clean with mwths first then black insulating tape 10mm =~0.1 g

run a little ca around the edges

It is a good idea to put the piece of tape on the leading edge in a way so that the air holds it on. I usually put half the piece on the top and half on the bottom and you shoudl adjust the thickness of the tape for weight, not how long it is if you adjust it by length you will be changing the cg along the different axis, the tape should also be on the cg of the blade. Probally not so important for a wood blade that is gonna be off anyways but I would be maticulous if doing it to carbon.
