Steve,
Looks sweet! Makes me want to go to a Lu'ai(Sp?).

BTW, how does it fly without the tail fins?

Thanks for the nice comments.
Heheh! Lift, I was wondering when someone was going to notice that. I took the stock CF horizontal and vertical fins off so that they would not slow down the piro and flip rate, since the fins were the solid type without the 3d cut holes in them. I ended up later that day putting the white plastic 3d vertical fin on so that I would not hit my tail blades on the ground.

Steve,
Ok, that makes sense! Get the 3D CF fins. They are pretty darn tuff and look nice.

I was looking last night at moving the tail fin to the other side of the boom. I see a performance improvement there. That is why the 3D fins work so much better IMHO. You would need some stand-offs to clear the T/R bellcrank though...

Payton,

I recently moved my fins to the other side and it does seem to work a bit better. I simply cut a few pieces of delrin stand offs and it works great. I spoke to Peter about this at IRCHA and we may see this on the Pred soon

Great! Thanks for the comments and tip. I'll change my tailfin over to the other side as well.

Thanks for sharing Mark. I got some left over T/R CF pushrod that I think I'm going to use.
