Would it be a good idea to practice inverted backward flight and those low sweeping flips on wood 600 raptor blades? I figure crashes would be much cheaper -danny

I use the wood blades that come with the Mavrick crash kit for $39 on my R50 v2, great for practicing 3D and very economical.

Maverikk

Hi - just wanted to know how spot on your Maverikk blades were. I got a set for a R60 and a R50. The 60 size were not too far out - medium amount of tape to balance them. The 50 size were horribly out of balance & took a lot to get them to balance - weight of each blade wasn't too far off, but the CG's were out by close to 1/2". Also, I was running 550 V blades & converted to the 50 size 600mm blades. It took quite a few turns on the double link to get them to track in.

Just curious if most people were getting good blades or not.

Hi Rappyman

Never tried the woodies for 3d - I have a scary thought that it might break when G-force is applied specially on a windy day!
