For those claiming the Innova is a cloned​ripoff

For those claiming the Innova is a "Ripoff" I would like to offer the following comparison. The original frame of Align's Trex 450 borrowed heavily on the design of the Thunder Tiger Raptor, yet everyone seems fine with it and no claims of ripoff. The head and tail drive design were also borrowed from Hirobo, yet no claims of ripoff. Please see the images below to illustrate my point.

I will agree that the design for the Innova borrows heavily from Mikado, but no more so than the original Trex borrowed designs. Were it not for the borrowed trex 450, a good many of us would not be on these forums today.

While small quantities of 700s were produced, they were not ready for full production.

They will be producing improved version of 700 within 1 month.

It will have improve belt, shorter boom (by about 50mm), stronger boom support suitable for 700. There maybe other improvements.

I do know that 600 boom is exactly 100mm shorter. So, it is possible that 600 main shaft to tail shaft length will be shortened as well.

They did say the new belt (polyurethane vs neoprene) is vastly superior (50mm shorter). But, until we actually test them, nothing is certain.

But, willingness to improve and change is a good thing.
