OK I'm considering plunking down some cash for some duralite 3600 mah Batteries, but before I do I need to consult the experts. I understand I'll get about 10 flights out between charges, and that it will recharge in about 5 hours. This is far superior to my 3 flights then wait 25 hours. So let the comments begin.

Thanks

James

You'll have to buy a special charger for these, won't you? How much will that cost?

there's a guy running those batteries (with regulator of course) at our field in his Freyas as well as his giant scale plane. He's very happy with them, but that's about all I can tell you.

Buy a triton for $130 and fly what you have already.

You can charge 1400 cells @ 2c (2.8A) in 30 minutes.

Plus you can discharge and cycle packs.

I have six 4 cell 1400 packs I swap through my 3 helis. I never have down time due to RX packs.

See that's what I want to hear

less charging and more flight time, I'm really sick of only being able to fly 3 times and have to charge it up again for a whole day. With the Triton being at 130$, I figure spend the extra fifty bucks and get 12 flights out of it and be ready to go again in 5 hours. I could fly a gallon and a half out without even thinking about it.

Sounds like a winner to me.
