Hello, not sure if they are the best price, but if you look on ebay there is a weekly auction for the arf version from Jethobbies in Vancouver. I got mine there and it was a smooth transaction. Last time I looked one is up now for $225. Hope this helps.

http://www.heli-kraft.com seems to have the best prices on TT. Their shipping is high coming from Singapore but many people on this board have said very positive things about them.

I've bought my last two Raptors from Heliproz. Their free shipping and decent prices always seem to win me over.

Except for ebay, the two big US dealers with the "almost always best prices" are Rick's and Heliproz. You can't go wrong with either and you will have a very hard time finding anything bad said about either of them.

Why don't you try a used one? I just sold my 30 V2. It was as good as new and you can usually pick up a good deal. I sold mine for $400 shipped and that was the basic Heliproz $339 deal plus a few accessories AND 4 9001 servos. If you price all of that out, you're looking at $550. If you're lucky enough to find one with a GY401/9253, there's another $200 you won't have to spend.

In case you're wondering, I sold my 30 and bought a 50. It seemed cheaper than upgrading the 30 and I don't have to deal with a bunch of old 30 parts sitting around.

I also bought a zero time Freya used from someone on this board. In fact, I bought quite a bit of second hand stuff right here and I'm very pleased with everything.

Now if it only hadn't all arrived at the same time!! You should see my work bench (you can't!).

Good luck with your decision.

If you are going to buy a new Raptor, go for the 50 all the way. The crash cost is about the same as the 30, but the performance is far better IMPO. The power rocks. As for the cheapest, I am not to sure right now. But when I bought mine I found that when you actually put a pencil to it, none were very much cheaper than any other when you figured in actuall over seas shipping. And for me I will pay a small amount more to buy from a US distributor. But that is me. If we are talking sugnifigant, I will gladly go with the cheapest. But at the time, none of the overseas guys had that going for them in this case. But that was when they (TT) decided to thow in the carbon blades. So I got a good deal. I bought mine at HeliProz if you are curious. That may be different now. Oh, and I will say, you will love the Raptor 50 V2. I know I love mine. Good luck!

Build it, fly it, crash it. Repeat as often as needed.

Well im putting my hawk mechanics into a Toys R Us Little Bird so im in need of a new Pod and Boom

So I figured id try a new flavor !!! Since this is my first Scale project its gonna be my winter project and im gonna use all my electronics and engine from the Hawk for the new bird. That way all i need is a kit for now and ill buy what i need as I go along for the scale bird

I been watching the classifieds for a used one but no one seems to just want to sell it without engine or elec.

If anyone has one in nice shape for a decent price send em my way plz

Thanks, Max
