Just thought I woul share this with you.
I ordered some stuff from Ricks and this is how they sent a JR tail control rod.
I just think it was great that they went the extra mile to tape it to a pice of wood so it didnt get bent in the mail.
Thanks Ron!!!!

Just Fly It!!!

Never do better than Rick's for HONESTY and service.if its junk he wont sell,if you dont need it he'll try to talk you out of it.I Used to hate leaving a message for a call back, but now I use the web.About 3 years ago ron returned a call to me and honestly spent over hour helping me with a csm 360 on an xcell that I bought used and didn't sell me anything. you may pay a bit more but sometimes it worth it.
My 2 cents

Yeah I think that is great how they do that too. Really shows that they care about you getting your stuff undamaged and they don't use cheap pine or spruce but that is a nice piece of hardwood. Oak I think. Everytime I get an order that has a piece of wood I put it in my works shop with the rest of my wood. Never know when your doing a job and those pieces will come in handy.

Keep up the good work Ron.

I agree 100%
I ordered a few bits and bobs of ricks, the Cooling fan i ordered was out of stock and was sent a e-mail same day advising me of this.
The whole time I was sent updates on the time and date of it arriving.

Unlike some stores who never tell you nothing ricks will always get my busniess

At the IRCHA event I was in need of some carb parts early on Saturday morning. The set-up crew hadn't even unloaded the truck for the display table, that morning, but found the YS engine parts box, and let me look through every package. They truly were trying to help me out, and it was greatly appreciated.Thank you Ron, and the rest of the crew, you made the IRCHA event a little more pleasant.

ron sets the bar very high

ron and nathan have set the standered for customer care very high in there lives because they are ture flyers. they are always at flyins durning the summer. most of the time they don't bring anything to sell they are just out to fly and have a good time. so they know what its like to be flying at soom flyin and need a part. i know this because i have seen them crash a few times.

I also had stuff sent that same way. I agree most heartedly that Ron Lund does go the extra mile just to ensure satisfaction.

It would be stupid to send an item like this through the post without some kind of protection!

You guys must be used to bad service if something like this gets you excited.

Now this is an example of good service:
I ordered product from modelheliservice - the store is 3 hours drive from me. He said he would be in my area that evening and we agreed to meet at a motorway junction 1/2 hour drive from me - now that's good service. Oh yeah, he also packs all mailorder items sensibly.
