You stated earlier you went through many different one ways so which is it? Many bad one ways or a bad design
no...more like, got it to work and found a failure point, fixed failure point and found next failure point

briefly...wait

Bob, can I post the mods, with out saying what the mod is, just the nature of the failure points???

I went through many of the one-ways for the Logo. And, that was testing to determine the failure point....of the Logo. Trex has a bigger one.

Try not to nit-pick so much. It shows the intent is personal rather than pursuit of the truth. Don't take that as a knock...it's a genuine tip.

Besides, when I say the 1st try, I don't mean I'm going to design everything and slap it together and it's perfect. No good engineer is ever that pompous. There was testing and refinement. For the record though, I predicted 70-80% of the failures...in the order in which they occured.

as CLEARLY said even by helix it would seems that it is NOT USEABLE power and that in fact it is finicky to fly, therefore no matter HOW POWERFULL that would NOT BE FUN to fly, make sense?
No it does not make sense. Perhaps to you, so don't get me wrong. It does not make sense to me. It is a LOT of fun to fly. And challenging. Notice Helix started out going right to 2500...almost 2600 I think. Then he backed off. But, is now pushing it back up again. Why...he is perfecting his setup and his skills. And, having a LOT of fun. I had a conversation with him this weekend and he was very excited that he was getting all that power under control. Flight time has simply been removed as a major deterrant.
But this is all besides the point anyway. Switch it down to 2250 and it still is unstoppable...and even longer duration.
So, what is your point then. Is it that you haven't seen it. OK, you haven't...all agree. There. We're done aren't we?

Not not enough ego stroking apparently Bob. When I was obtaining my engineering degree there was a professor who said some take being an engineer in ways of a police officer, they feel it makes them powerfull above society, some take it with honor and becomes simply like any other profession a way of life. It has become obvious throughout posts you simply want some superior recognition, your not getting that from anyone so your upset I understand. However understand that being an engineer in this hobby means nothing and I think you have forgotten that sadly, no need to remind others out there what your crudentials are honestly they don't mean much here.

No one is going to call you king, god, or anything like that so please for the sake of the community give it a rest allready good greif.

Its all been said and without this thread I'm not sure what else you could possibly post? Perhaps if you and helix would like to creata a specifics of your bb600 in a seperate thread without bragging but pure facts and comments may interest the community? Maybe for those out there at "their" risk who may want to take it on? You'd find that janitors, guys who pump gas, and mow lawns would be able to "EASILY" do it, doesen't take an engineer to do such simple things, and maybe just maybe, they'd even "do it better"?

The smartest guys in this hobby as pertaining to this hobby specifically are not engineers, and they don't live in USA or my country either. Guys who give to others, help others, genuinely care to others progress those are the ones who I myself will show that ultimate respect for, and those same people are people who never mention talents, degrees, never charge for anything or ever say to anyone "they did it better", they're simply glad to help.
That my friend is someone who doesen't just contributes to a friend or a small gang, but rather to the community and the hobby.
People who could be noted as such are Barracuda Hockey, Dr. Ben, Mr. Mel and more, those people ask nothing and never mention anything of their backgrounds, they simply help politely and reveal all details to anything they have done.
Other...

P.S. Glad John is having fun, he knows what the hobby is about for himself then at least that counts.

And to perfect ones actual flying skills takes being able to do stuff at minimum headspeed that a helicopter can almost fly, some out there need the high headspeed, as you develop skills later on you reduce collective pitch and headspeed and utilize collective management to go through maneuvers rather then the power.

I'll check back in spring, hopefully by then the thread has been deleted anyhow there has been nothing and will be nothing new to discuss on this matter anyhow "on topic" wise ..

Now we're done

One last time...NO, it did NOT make sense.

You are being very insulting and deserve to get attn RR. Really wish you would have more decency.
But, it is hardly worth my time...certainly not Marks.

You're right it's not worth Marks time as my above post contained no insults only truth and as Jack Nicholson once said in a movie "You can't handle the truth". That is not my problem to deal with that is yours Bob. How you come across is not that of only personal but condesending, selfish and egotistical with educational references constantly that is observation and truth. As mentioned in above posts true givers to the hobby help everyone, share everything and don't ask for nothing and never say "they did it better". I emplore you to go ahead and click attn: RR as there is nothing in the above post that is not true, not only from my point of view but the entire communities as I've had multiple pms to myself asking why I even bother, I suppose my simple answer is to try to stop the overflow of BS and chest beating. Without yourself and a few others posting and only a very few debating this post would be on page 100 and then on, I intend to leave it till spring, and as mentioned by then hopefully gone. I don't know you or anyone on your gangs side personally and hold nothing personal against any of you due to this only being the net, however such comments to me and the making it personal suck me in so... Till that time keep your personal issues to ones self, keep me out of your posts, share with others, be creative and provide to others that information rather then focusing so hard on self recognition, that will make you a better person in the end be well.

You implied something different, so you went through different one ways on a Logo which has a nearly bulletproof one? On an E power system?
