Shoot man...you got me toiling over that one.

I can't think of one decent way to get a nitro to power a George Foreman Grill. I mean...it would just be rediculous.

This might just be the nail in the coffin man.

yes the kids story is a scary one. With no experience in Rc, Dad bought it as a christmas pressie for his children, and next thing you know .... boom. It may or rather will never hapen to you but it can to others with no experience. For this unfortunate one, no experience but wanting to get his kids into rc toys.

But the second one, he have the experience, was setting up and hovering in his workshop just before going home. Left the lipos to cycle overnight on the bench, the security camera caught the lipo bursting into flames. Next thing the flame just got larger and larger ... boom the whole workshop. Sorry that it cant be viewed from outside NZ. BTW, why does he need to cycle a lipo?

These two are just recent news, by recent I mean less than a year.

welcome to the dark side =)

No need to cycle a lipo, just goes to show you his inexperience. Dangerous for sure.

That's what I taught, the more he cycle the more he use up th lipo life. Must be someone who used to use NIMAH batteries, possibly a plank flyer.

Hey Shawn,
I think I'm onto something. If this thing can can work, surely there's a way to get Nitro to do a cheese sandwich.

+1

Grillin with newspaper balls. I'm wondering if that affects the taste at all?

My grillin season never ends. I was grilling steak a few weeks ago while it was snowing out.
I was thinking of using a mcx li-po for the electric starter on my grill and fueled by 100% nitro.

Now THAT's the spirit.

That's what we have to do. Find more ways Nitro and Lipo can be used together.

For example, you know all those threads where everyone is all worried about the big spark they get when plugging their bats. I say, just dip the plugs in Nitro before plugging them in....enhance and embrace the experience.

I like thinking outside the box.

I think the Vbar trolls were sabotaging your heli.

I couldn't get out to the field but managed to float my 90 around in my backyard.
I was wearing a t-shirt today smelling sweet nitro in a warm winter's breeze and loving it.

Nice one paddled flight.

Once upon a time I had a paddle eject from the flybar in-flight.
It was a Caliber5 nitro, and when it happened, it had a severe out of balance wobble. I immediately landed.

Flew ok, but lost a paddle every time

This vid belongs here :)

Electric is just as, if not more flammable than nitro.
