WHOOOOAAAHAAA, I had my check ride today and all went well.. Slow flight, steep turns, stalls, unusual attitudes, Short Field and Soft field takeoffs and landings, and a diversion.... What a blast.!!! Sorry gang it's only fixed wing.... but I have to make SOME adult decisions in my life or it would have been in a chopper/// I just had to share this with "my Family"

You want to hear something interesting?
I could never land MS Flight Simulator without crashing until after I solo'd on a fixed wing.

Many thanks from everyone... sorry Seneca... I doubt you saw "me" but probably one of my classmates down there on a cross country... were they in the Seminole or an arrow? I am happy to be moving on to the Cessna 172.. that thing is going to seem like a Cadillac compared to the 152 I start instrument training this coming monday... It should take about 12 weeks... don't ask how much.. you don't wanna know.. btw Seneca... VFR charts expire this sept 4th... Not that you probably have to use them..

Congrats dude. Did you take your first passenger up with you yet? I remember my first passenger being quite and looked a little nervous in the beginning then all was good.

You just joined an elite group, the folks that follow through with their dreams. Congratulations, Ron

ps. took a student (cocky) up today in the Velocity XL RG and he's not so cocky any more. Remember, the certificate will allow you to learn, glad you're going to get your inst. license, it will make you a better, much, much better pilot. Ron

Seneca, i'm flying the Velocity to Vegas tomorrow, c-ya Ron

Please cancel my clearance, I have the field in sight. Got my RW Turbine Waiver, need lottery!

Hotwings,

Did you build your Velocity XL RG yourself? I saw the kit at Sun N Fun and I fell in love with it. It is a very nice airplane. Not as fast as Seneca's Hawk but it is fast enough for a prop plane.
