As I browse through the posts on this forum I find lots of great info, but unfortunately a lot of ill-informed stuff too.

Many of you will have seen the series of articles "Practical Theory". Those of you who haven't are missing a treat. They are by Colin Mill, founder of CSM. The later articles deal with helicopter aerodynamics and are excellent. If you want to know how flybar length/weight or Bell/Hiller ratios will affect your heli, you will find out, and why.

Good intro....I've been posting links to that information for the last year and a half every time someone asks a question about flybar length.

Perhaps we should ask Mark to create a new forum just for posting published "technical" works.
